A retro terminal interface for the Claude AI API, built entirely with vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — no frameworks, no build tools. Features a CRT scanline overlay, phosphor glow effects, typewriter response rendering, and a full multi-turn conversation history. The challenge was making a streaming AI interface feel authentic while keeping every byte hand-written.

1978.IO Studio is one of six distinct interfaces we built from scratch — each a fully working site in vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. No frameworks, no build tools.
