Selected work
A selection of things I've designed and built โ from AI-powered interfaces to data tooling.
A vanilla UI component kit you can re-theme in about fifteen lines โ no framework, no build step. Change a handful of CSS variables and everything recolors together, including your third-party tables and charts, in light and dark. Ships with a live theme generator that writes the theme for you. Free and MIT.
A home for small, free, open-source tools โ take them, they're MIT. Each one comes with clean docs and a live demo. First up: Scry, a zero-dependency PHP micro-library for User-Agent and device detection, and trace, a tiny JavaScript call-tracer. More to come.
A retro terminal interface for the Claude AI API. Built entirely with vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript โ no frameworks, no build tools. Features a CRT scanline overlay, phosphor glow effects, typewriter response rendering, and a full multi-turn conversation history.
Mobile-first progressive web app for workout tracking and strength progression. Installable on any device, offline-capable, no app store required. Built for athletes who want app-quality UX anywhere.
A browser-based maze tower defense game with an alchemical-neon aesthetic. Build mazes from walls, deploy floating sigil-towers, and survive an endless, ever-growing transmutation. Free, no login, runs in any browser.
A fixed-turret arcade shooter โ you're an orb that can't move, only aim, firing nonstop as rocks split and fly ballistic through an endless run that keeps ramping. Power-ups float in and have to be shot to collect. Free, mobile-first PWA, runs in any browser.
A planning tool that helps Texas families map the road to college โ cost projections, savings targets, and school comparisons in one clean dashboard. Privacy-friendly by design: cookieless analytics, no account required.
A hacker-themed RPG played from a terminal interface. Navigate networks, complete missions, and build your reputation in the underground. Mobile-first PWA, currently in development.
Client engagement work in this space โ more detail available on request. Includes operational analytics dashboards, customer-facing portals, and internal tooling. Get in touch to discuss specifics.
1978.IO Studio is one of six distinct interfaces we built from scratch โ each a fully working site in vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. No frameworks, no build tools. Six completely different aesthetics over the same engineering discipline. It's the kind of thing we build for clients, applied to ourselves.
The best way to understand what I can do for your project is to talk about it.
